Deep Fried Oreos!

I recently went to the North Carolina State Fair for the first time, this past Sunday. My family and I usually travel to the South Carolina State Fair in Columbia.

My home state of South Carolina will always have a place in my heart for many reasons. I do feel that the NC State Fair is larger with more options.

There were so many food options, I didn't know what to try first. I think that you also have to go with a completely empty stomach. The Turkey Leg was tempting, but I didn't want anything that huge. I don't eat seafood or pork, so that limited some of my options. I stuck with my old reliable Chicken Tenders and Cheese Fries, it was actually delicious!

I saw the options for Gater Bites and Snake Fries, but that was a no for me. LOL.

I did, however, try Deep Fried Oreos for the first time. I always had an idea that they were super sweet. As you can see in my video, they were! I had one and that was enough for me. It's funny how I make desserts, but I have my limits on the level of sweetness. It was good overall. They're worth trying at least once.

I had a ball at the fair and I'm looking forward to deciding which location to choose.
