Full Circle

Hi Loves! Welcome back! I usually post more during the Fall/Winter seasons because that's normally when I bake the most.

I've decided to add more content for you to share more about me, and gems that I find along the way.

I have been doing some baking while I was away for a few months (even though I'm retired, right?).

This past July, I had the opportunity to prepare desserts for one of my grandmother's friends. Mrs. Agnes and her family are beloved family friends who we deeply treasure and love. She turned 100 years old, isn't that amazing?!

We are so grateful for her son Don, who entrusted us to prepare all of the desserts for her and their guests.

We made a Sheet Cake, Gluten-Free Cupcakes, and Cheesecake Shooters.

It was a pleasure and honor to prepare desserts for Mrs. Agnes, and it was also a full circle moment for me. My grandmother passed away when I was sixteen years old. She's the reason that I began baking in the first place. I followed her around in the kitchen all the time growing up. I learned the majority of my skills from her. It's always been a pleasure to connect with her friends throughout the years after her passing. Baking desserts for a friend of hers was truly a special moment for me that will always be dear to my heart.

Life has a way of bringing everything at full circle, when it's time. My grandmother was the reason that I started, and I baked for a friend of hers. My grandmother would have been 101 this year. I honor her, Mrs. Agnes, and all of the women who influenced my life and assisted me in any way possible.

Here's the video that I posted on my TikTok page of the desserts. Enjoy! I look forward to sharing more with you and thank you for supporting!
